This panel is for you if

You want the full picture.
Not just reassurance.

Your annual checkup covers the basics. This panel looks across five systems — so you can understand patterns, not just single numbers.

You feel off but tests come back "normal." - You want to understand the bigger picture, not just the basics.

You haven't had comprehensive bloodwork in over a year — or ever done a comprehensive panel.

You're managing fatigue, weight, mood, or energy and want clarity on what's behind it.

You’re proactively building a personal health baseline - tracking how your values trend over time.

You want data your GP can act on — not a printout of numbers.

Why this panel complements a GP visit

Your GP focuses on what provincial insurance cover — typically 4–6 markers, designed to screen for immediate concerns. The Core Health Panel is built for broader, proactive insight — helping you track trends over time and have more informed conversations with your care team.

What we measure.
And what it helps you understand.

Every marker is selected because it tells you something useful — not just because it can be measured.

01
Metabolic health
How your body handles blood sugar over time. This influences energy stability, cravings, and long-term metabolic balance.
HbA1c is one marker that gives a clear picture of blood sugar over time.
HbA1c (Blood Sugar)
02
Cardiovascular health
A clear view of how cholesterol is moving through your body. It helps you understand heart health trends before they become problems.
Together they help assess long-term cardiovascular health and how your body transports and processes fats.

Canada's healthcare system covers medically necessary testing — meaning tests ordered by a doctor when you have symptoms or a diagnosed condition. Preventive testing when you're feeling fine isn't typically covered, because it's not considered urgent. This panel gives you access to doctor-level insight before something becomes medically necessary — without a referral, without symptoms, and without the wait. You're paying for speed, prevention, and control over your own health data.
The draw itself takes 5–8 minutes. Including arrival and setup, plan for 15–20 minutes total. The phlebotomist brings everything — you don't need to prepare anything except the overnight fast.
You can — if your doctor agrees they're medically necessary. But if you're asymptomatic and just want to know your baseline, many doctors can't justify ordering tests through the public system. It's not their choice — it's how the system prioritizes resources. This panel removes that barrier. You decide when you're ready. No symptoms required.
List them on the intake form. The physician interprets your results in that context. Some medications affect certain markers; the review will note that so you and your GP have the full picture.
We don't provide financing directly. At checkout, you can choose to pay over time through Affirm (3–18 months, subject to approval).
We take privacy and information security seriously. Numia is compliant with PIPA and PIPEDA. Your personal health information is encrypted and securely stored, and it's only shared with the licensed healthcare professionals and accredited Canadian laboratories involved in your care. We do not sell your data.
Yes. You can reschedule at no cost up to 24 hours before your visit. Because our healthcare professionals are dispatched specifically for your visit, changes within 24 hours incur a $65 fee.
This test is for anyone who wants a clear baseline of their metabolic, cardiovascular, thyroid, and nutrient markers. It's not a replacement for your primary care provider, but it can help you have a more informed conversation with them.
